HCSS safety consultants Jim Goss and Bob Emmerich will speak on Monday, May 4, Wednesday, May 6, and Thursday, May 7, to give you ideas for safety planning and best practices.

Monday's presentation by Jim Goss is titled "Pre-Planning for Safety: Where Do I Start?" It will focus on basic steps to help contractors look for hazards and establish ways to control those hazards to prevent injuries and/or deaths. The webinar starts at 11 a.m. CST.

On Wednesday at 11 a.m., Goss will host "Lessons Learned in Construction Safety." Goss will discuss what the industry has discovered in safety in the last 10 years and how to apply it to the next decade to become safer contractors.

Emmerich will speak on "Crisis Management" on Thursday at 3 p.m., where he will discuss how to handle site emergencies such as major injuries or worse.

Goss is Chairman of the Government Affairs Committee of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) National Safety & Health Committee and an OSHA Training Institute instructor.
